Lisa – Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator
Lisa joined Dr. Mejia’s team in 2001. She is our Office Manager as well as Treatment Coordinator. Lisa brings a variety of experience from other corporate management positions.
Lisa enjoys life, shopping, and traveling. She enjoys doing landscaping with her husband.
Lisa also loves spending time with her 3 dogs whom she calls “the boys”
Gerri – Orthodontic Assistant
Gerri has been an orthodontic assistant since 1986. She joined Dr. Mejia’s office in 1999. Gerri enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel better about themselves by making a better smile. Gerri is CPR, expanded duties, and X-ray certified.
Gerri has 2 boys in college and enjoys spending as much time with them, along with her husband, as she can. She is also very involved in activities at church.
Ruth – Orthodontic Assistant
Ruth has been with Dr. Mejia’s team since 2000. She started out as Scheduling Coordinator and then graduated to orthodontic assisting. She has now been assisting for almost 4 years. She enjoys helping patients feel better about their smile. Ruth is CPR, expanded duties, X-ray and orthodontic assisting certified.
Ruth enjoys traveling, shopping, spending time with friends and family and watching the Georgia Bulldogs! Ruth enjoys playing with her niece and nephews!
Lacy – Patient Billing Coordinator
Lacy has been an orthodontic assistant with Dr. Mejia since 1999. She joined Dr. Mejia’s team full time in 2004. She is CPR, expanded duties, X-ray, and orthodontic assistant certified.
In her free time, she enjoys raising her daughter and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
Alicia – Orthodontic Assistant
Alicia has worked with Dr. Mejia for a total of five years. After having her second daughter, she decided to stay home with her children. She recently came back to work with our team in August 2006. Although her time off is very busy taking care of her family, she really enjoys spending time with her husband and their children. Alicia is CPR, expanded duties, X-ray and orthodontic assistant certified. Alicia is bilingual and helps us a lot with all of our Spanish speaking patients.
Ashley – Scheduling Coordinator
Ashley is enjoying meeting new people everyday and learning new things. She hopes to further a career in orthodontics. Ashley was a patient of Dr. Mejia’s many years ago, which made her peruse the field of orthodontics.
Ashley enjoys spending time with friends and family and her dog Charlie. She enjoys shopping and outdoor activities.
Georgia – Orthodontic Assistant
Georgia has been an orthodontic assistant for 6 years and is CPR, expanded duties, x-ray and orthodontic assistant certified.
Georgia enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She loves to travel and is also actively involved in her church.
Lauren – Front Desk
Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going on vacation to new places, wakeboarding, and playing with her precious dog Louis. Lauren hopes to one day become a orthodontic assistant.
