Our Team

Our team consists of highly motivated and well-trained professionals with over 100 years combined experience in the dental and orthodontic field. Our team is  well trained with expanded duties and certifications in CPR and OSHA.

Lisa - Office Manager

Lisa joined Dr. Mejia’s team in 2001. She brings over 25 years of corporate management experience to the office. Lisa also enjoys reaching out to our community through Career Day at our local schools.

Lisa enjoys shopping, traveling, cruising and landscaping with her husband. She also enjoys her “four legged babies” (her dogs.)

Lacy - Financial Coordinator

Lacy graduated from the Orthodontic Assistant Training School in Atlanta in 1999. She began working with Dr. Mejia as an orthodontic assistant at that time. She joined the team full-time in 2004. In 2006 she assumed the role of financial coordinator, handling both insurance and in-house financing. She brings many years of financial experience to our office.

Lacy enjoys raising her two daughters and son. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, photography, camping, and Disney!

Becky - New Patient Coordinator

Becky joined Dr. Mejia when she opened her private practice in Stockbridge in 1992. She has been a part of all aspects of the practice but is currently our new patient coordinator. Becky believes it’s truly a privilege working with the best orthodontist around!

Becky enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and church activities.

Naomi - Scheduling Coordinator

Naomi joined Dr. Mejia’s team in 2010. Naomi is the bright, smiling face you will see when you enter our office. She loves meeting new people and getting to know our patients.

Naomi loves spending time with her husband and their two children. In her free time, she loves getting together with family, traveling, and is actively involved in her church.

Georgia - Marketing Coordinator

Georgia joined Dr. Mejia’s team in 2006 as a certified orthodontic assistant. She currently manages the internal and external marketing for our team. Georgia loves meeting new people and generating new patients for the office while maintaining current relationships with our dental family.

Georgia enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her boys play sports and is actively involved in her church.

Melissa - Lead Orthodontic Assistant

Melissa joined our team in 2021. She has been in dentistry for 27 years and worked in the field of orthodontics for 22 of those years.

Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She is a grandmother of twin boys and is actively involved in her church. She also enjoys crafting, sewing, and embroidery.

Brittany - Orthodontic Assistant

Brittany has been with our office first as a patient and now as an Orthodontic Assistant. She joined our team in January of 2023. She loves to make patients smile and help improve their confidence with each orthodontic appointment.

Brittany enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and rooting for her favorite teams, the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs.

Jessica - Orthodontic Assistant

Jessica joined Dr. Mejia’s team in 2023. She has been in the dental field since 2012 and in orthodontics for the past seven years.  She enjoys getting to know her patients and watching the transformation through creating beautiful smiles.

Jessica enjoys spending time with her two daughters. She enjoys traveling and in her free time, she also enjoys reading books.

*All employees are CPR certified and clinical staff is Expanded Duties,  X-ray certified, and Orthodontic Assistant Certified.
